The Glade The Glade was created during the spring of 2020 in Gotha, Florida. We shot The Glade in the parking lot of a deserted JC Penny; and the Godly Garden a roadside statuary.
8x8x8 Time Warp Reverie A celebration of 16 years of Paufve Dance’s beloved 8x8x8 series
Uptown End Times Uptown End Times honors Oakland’s Uptown Nightclub (home of Paufve Dance’s 8x8x8 series from 2010-2019) and the live performances that were lost to the pandemic. Choreographer Randee Paufve performs with cellist and composer Chris Evans in the Uptown’s space before they closed their doors permanently in November 2021, another Covid casualty.
OLIVIA! OLIVIA is a collaboration between choreographer Randee Paufve, dancer Olivia Caldeira Holston, videographer Julia Sweeney, and costume designer Andrew Merrell, set to songs by popular songs by feminist Brazilian vocalists and composers. The film also features a clip from the 1988 film Eternamente Pagú about the life of famed Brazilian artist dissident Patricia Rehder Galvão.
